Welterweight Danny “Bhoy” O’Connor scored a majority 10 round win over Derek Silveira at the TD Bank Boston Garden, in Boston, MA on Saturday.
O’Connor, 20-1-(7),Framingham, MA was judged a 100-89 and 97-93 on two cards while the third judge scored the bout a draw at 95-95.
O’Connor dictated the pace of the fight and looked stronger of two, which seemed to give him the edge in a tough battle.
The undercard action saw unbeaten lightweight Ryan Kielczewski improve his record to 15-0-(3), when he stopped Washington Hago after 48 seconds of round two. Kielczewski decked Hago twice with body shots before Hago’s corner threw in the towel.
Dorchester, MA’s own Billy Traft out-pointed Joe Powers over four rounds by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37.
In another four round bout Russell Lamour outscored Luis Viramontes by a shutout 40-36 on all three cards in a middleweight bout.
The promotion was put together by DiBella Entertainment in association with Warriors Boxing.
