Undefeated light welterweight prospect Roberto “Massa” Ortiz, 26-0-1-(22), scored a second round tko win against Florencio “Chombo” Castellano, 16-7-(13),at the Palacio de Dome de municipal del la ciudad de Tulum in Tulum, Mexico on Saturday.
Castellano was decked twice in round two before his corner threw in the towel after 0.53. Ortiz retained his WBC silver light welterweight title.
On the undercard world ranked middleweight Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez remained unbeaten at 23-0-(19), when he scored a clear 10 round unanimous decision over Richard “La Lamina” Gutierrez, 26-10-1-(16). All three judges scored the bout 100-90 for Ramirez.
In a bantamweight Raul Martinez, 29-2-(17), scored a third round knockout win over Juan Jimenez.
