Osawa Edges Out Mejia Over 10 Tough Rounds

World ranked featherweight Hiroshige Osawa, 32-4-4-(19 ), scored a hard fought 10 round win over the previously  unbeaten Nicaraguan based Alexander Mejia , 8-1-( 4 ),In Kadoma, Osaka, Japan on Sunday.



Osawa squeaked past the determined Mejia via  majority decision  by scores of 96-95, 97-96 and 96-96.


Osawa’s big mistake was getting mixed up in a fire fight instead using all his boxing skill to make life easier for himself.


Osawa used all his experience and skills dug deep into his reserves to edge the 10th round and take a hard fought decision on the judges cards.
