Jorge “Maromerito” Paez Jr (34-4-1, 20 KO’s) scored a ninth round knockout win over Francisco “Paco” Fuentes (16-3, 13 KO’s) at the Auditorio Bicentenario de Morelia in Morelia,, Mexico on Saturday night.
Paez floored Fuentes twice in round six and again in round nine before Fuentes was counted out in the welterweight bout.
In a Super flyweight bout Felipe Orucuta (27-1, 23 KO’s) produced a clean left hook to take out Fernando Lumacad in the opening round..
At light flyweight Francisco “Chihuas” Rodriguez (10-1, 8 KO’s) scored a third round stoppage win over former world champion “Chango” Vargas.
