Price Seeks Redemption In Thompson Rematch

This Saturday questions will be answered as will it be repeat or revenge when Tony Thompson takes on David Price in a rematch of Thompson’s shocking second round knockout of Price that took place on February 23rd in the same Echo Arena ring in Liverpool where the first bout took place.

Price (15-1, 13 KO’s) recently sat down with Frank Stea of ATG Radio and discussed the changes he needed to make in order to make Saturday’s result a whole different ballgame.

“I got complacent. I thought I would win the fight before I ever got in the ring”, said a humble Price.

“I am not going to go in there over confident this time. I do believe in myself and that’s why I took the rematch straight away”.

Price has enlisted the services of former Heavyweight champion and legend in Lennox Lewis to help prepare himself for this very important fight.

Price said that even before the first fight with Thompson the he and trainer Franny Smith would seek outside help and Price could not have found a better mentor then the Hall of Famer.

“Lennox has stepped up my game massively. He really pushes me to another level. Lennox appeared and this could have not worked out any better.” finished Price
