Following his recent sixth round stoppage defeat to Scott Quigg, Rendall Munroe has confirmed his retirement from boxing.
The 32 year-old has been contemplating retirement since being dumped on the canvas twice after losing to Quigg and finishes up with a 24-3-1-(10).
Munroe, won the European super-bantamweight title four years ago told Sky Sports: "I’m always positive and forward thinking and I’ve had a great career. I am 100% proud of what I have done.
"I was English, Commonwealth, European and WBA international champion and a world title contender."
