Reyes Ko’s Perez In 3

Artemio “King” Reyes ko’d Sergio Perez of Tijuana, Mexico in the third round of a welterweight bout at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California on Friday.


Reyes decked Perez twice with body shots before he was counted out after 1:39 of the third session. Reyes improves to 20-2-(15), Perez falls to 28-15-(19).


In a female bout Cindy Amador from Riverside and San Diego based Jolene Blackshear for the vacant interim WIBA jr. flyweight title. Amador came forward from the start but Blackshear kept her composure to nick a split decision over eight rounds .the scores were 76-74, 76-74 for Blackshear and 76-74 for Amador.
