Sturm Fights His Way Back To The Top

Former WBA Middleweight Champion Felix Sturm wants to get back to the top – and he will take the first step on July 6, 2013 when he faces the undefeated Predrag Radosevic from Montenegro in an IBF Middleweight Title Eliminator.

The 34 year-old Sturm is currently ranked third by the IBF, while Radosevic holds the fourth spot. SAT.1 will broadcast the bout live in Germany from the Westfallenhalle in Dortmund at 10:45 PM/CET.

“After the annulment of my last fight against (Sam)Soliman, I’m only looking forward now. My definite goal is to get back to the top – I want to become world champion again and I have set my sights only on that. When I beat Radosevic, I will be the IBF’s mandatory challenger. That will be my chance to get the belt back from Daniel Geale”, Sturm said.

WBA Interim Flyweight Champion Susi Kentikian, light middleweight prospect Maurice Weber and light heavyweight Konni Konrad, who will face the dangerous and hard-punching Edison Miranda from Columbia, will also be on the card.
