Sturm Takes Out Radosevic In Four


Former world middleweight champion and (38-3-2, 17 KOs) scored a fourth round knockout win over the previously unbeaten Predrag Radosevic (27-1, 9 KOs) in an IBF eliminator at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany on Saturday.

 

Sturm showed decked Radosevic in round three and twice more in round four before Radosevic’s corner retired their man to save him further punishmen. The time of the retirement was 2:17. Sturm, is now the mandatory challenger to IBF champion Daniel Geale from Australia.

 

On the undercard light heavyweight Konni Konrad won a 12 round majority decision over late sub Bernard Donfack, The scores were 116-111, 115-112 and an even 113-113. Konrad was to have fought Edison Miranda, but Miranda weighed in a massive four pounds over the contracted weight.

 

In a female bout “Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian regained the WBA flyweight crown against Californian Carina Moreno with a 10 round unanimous decision. The scores were 96-94 and 97-93 twice.

 

At light middleweight Maurice Weber scored a first round knockout win over Aliaksandr Abramenka.
