Jerry Glick reporting from ringside: Dmitriy Salita promotion company, Star of David, took over the Fight Factory Gym in Brooklyn to put on a rousing seven fight show that had the fans cheering so loud you could not hear announcer David Diamante’s voice when he tried to tell everyone the official results.

In a mild upset, Southpaw Jose Torres, 188.2, landed two right hook, straight left combinations that produced two knockdowns, the second one dropped Miron Kadyrov, 192.8, hard prompting referee Murdaugh to skip the count, stopping the fight at :58 of the opening round. Kadyrov’s numbers fell to 2-2 (1 KO), as Torres upped his mark to the same record, 2-2 (1 KO).
