A trio of undefeated local Pittsburgh fighters will headline the Pro-Am card scheduled for August 3rd at the Rostraver Ice Garden in Belle Vernon, PA, dubbed Double Duty V.
Headlining the show will be Monessen’s own Sammy "The Who Can Mexican" Vasquez Jr. The former Olympic hopeful will look to improve his record to 10-0. The local welterweight has drawn interest from Golden Boy Promotions over his last few fights. Vasquez, a hard hitting, slick, southpaw, has been very active since his debut early last year.
Pittsburgh heavyweight prospect Fred Latham Jr. will step into the ring looking to improve his record to 4-0. The former Pennsylvania State Golden Glove super heavyweight champion has recorded ten official knockdowns in three professional fights.
Pittsburgh light heavyweight "Irish" Cian Dalton will be looking to improve to 3-0 in his young professional career. Dalton, of Irish heritage, has had a nice local following since debuting earlier this year.
Rounding out the card will be five amateur bouts featuring the Pittsburgh and Mon Valley region’s top amateur boxers.
Sammy Vasquez Sr.’s Team Vasquez Promotional Entity will host the event, which has been a success.
