Nathan Gorman Scores Shutout Win Over Kevin Johnson

Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Nathan Gorman,16-0-(11), predictably, scored a shutout win over American gatekeeper Kevin Johnson,34-13-1-(18), over 10 rounds at the at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England on Saturday night.

The 39 year-old Johnson was his usual defensive self, resulting in a 100-90 verdict from the scoring referee.

On the undercard junior welterweight Sam Maxwell improved his unbeaten record to 11-0-(9),scoring a scored a 10th round knockout over Sabri Sediri,10-1-1-(5). Sediri decked Maxwell in rounds one and two and shook up Maxwell on a number of occasions but Sediri got too cocky in the 10^th round and with just seconds to go in the fight, Maxwell ko’d him with a straight right hand with just 14 seconds to go in the fight.

In a super welterweight bout CJ Challenger outpointed Kyle Haywood over 10 rounds with a score of 97-95.
