James DeGale must travel to Italy to defend his European super-middleweight title against mandatory challenger Cristian Sanavia.
Sanavia’s promoter Round Zero won the right to stage the fight with a purse of €250,000 meaning DeGale faces a tough title defence on away soil.
The 26 year-old won the title with a majority 12 round points decision win over Poland’s Piotr Wilczewski last October.
DeGale was due to defend his title against Jose Guerrero in December but the Liverpool card was cancelled.
