Tim Tszyu Stops Denton Vassell In 2

Australian junior middleweight prospect Tim Tszyu, 12-0-(10) scored a second round tko win over former Commonwealth Champion Denton Vassell, from England in a WBA Oceana title bout at the Hordern Pavillion, Sydney, NSW, Australia on Friday.

From the opening bell Tszyu took the fight to Vassell and connected with some heavy punches to force the British boxer onto the back foot.

After decking Vassell in round two and a follow up attack, the referee stepped in to stop the fight and declare Tszyu the winner.
