By Mike Sloan in Las Vegas: The main event of Saturday’s blockbuster fight card at the MGM is obviously Floyd Mayweather versus Miguel Cotto. That part the world knows and fully understands. But unlike far too many super fights of the past twenty years, Saturday’s HBO Pay Per View-televised card actually has a substantial undercard with quality bouts comprised of talented fighters.

On May 19, Mikkel Kessler will move up in weight, clashing with Allan Green for the WBC Light Heavyweight World Championship (Silver).

Carl Frampton will face Raul Hirales for the vacant IBF Inter Continental super bantamweight title at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on May 26.

Sheffield’s former WBC light welterweight champion Junior Witter knows that British champion Colin Lynes will be looking for revenge when the pair meet at the Hillsborough Leisure Centre on Saturday May 12.
