Khan to face Greek opponent

Amir Khan, the 17 year-old wonder kid from Bolton will face Marios Kaperonis in the first round of the 60kg class at the Olympics Games in Athens on Monday (Aug 16) afternoon.

It appears the draw has been kind to the British youngster, who is tipped with an excellent chance of bringing back a medal in his first year of senior competition.

The only other British Isles entrant to qualify for the Athens Games, Ireland's Andy Lee faces Alfredo Angulo Lopez in the 75kg class tomorrow (Aug 14) evening at around 7.15pm.
