Amir Mansour, 17-0-(13), took just one round to take out Dominique Alexander, 23-16-1-(11), at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware on Friday night.
Mansour jumped on Alexander from the start, connected with a combination of punches including two thumping right hands to finish the fight after just 0.24.
On the undercard heavyweight Franklin Lawrence, 19-2-2-(14), scored a second round tko win over Mark Brown, 15-5-(7). Brown’s corner threw in the towel at the end of round two.
In a welterweight eight rounder Edgar Santana floored Eddie Soto twice with body shots before the fight was stopped after at 1:36 of the second round.
Cornelius Lock stopped the tough but outgunned Damon Antoine after 0.38 of the second round of a super featherweight bout. Antoine was down, once in the first and again in the second.
