Abraham Decisions Carolis In A Snoozer


Former IBF middleweight champ and Arthur Abraham , 38-4-(28 ), out-pointed Giovanni De Carolis, 20-5-(10) over 12 forgettable rounds at the EWE Arena in Oldenburg, Germany on Saturday.

 

Abraham was never in trouble but failed to cut off the ring and go to work for any sustained period of the fight against the elusive and negative De Carolis. The but scores were 120-108 and 119-109 twice. Abraham will now face WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz in a rematch

 

On the undercard light middleweight Jack Culcay improved to 15-1-(10), when he avenged his only pro defeat with a 12 round unanimous decision over Guido Nicolas Pitto, 18-2-(7). Culcay made sure this time with a much more positive display to nick the fight by scores of 115-113 twice and 117-112.
