In a middleweight bout at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut on Saturday night Elvin Ayala knocked out John Mackey in the ninth round.
In a female bantamweight bout Shelito Vincent from New London, Conn.kept her perfect record intact with a unanimous-four round decision win over Ivana Coleman. Vincent, 4-0, was a 40-36 on all three judges cards.
In a featherweight bout Joseph “Chip” Perez looked good in stopping Johnny Frazier at the end of the fourth round.
Carlos Hernandez made short work of Alan Beeman by stopping the Newport, R.I based boxer after the 2.43 mark of the fourth round.Hernandez floored Beeman with a left hook to the body late in the round and before the fight was stopped.
