Barker floored Hope with a right hand in round four, prompting Hope’s cornerman threw in the towel after 1:05.
On the undercard world rated welterweight Carson Jones was held to a surprise eight round draw against late replacement Dean Byrne.
In a battle of unbeaten middleweights, John Ryder stopped Eamonn O’Kane in the eighth round.
