Kell Brook made up for a disappointing performance last time out by impressively stopping Hector Saldivia in the third round at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Saturday.
After laboring to victory against Carson Jones back in July Brook looked a different class before decking Saldivia twice in the third round before the fight was stopped after 0.28 of the third round.
Brook caught the Argentine with a straight left and right uppercut for the first knockdown and there was was more to come in the second round as Saldivia became marked up round both eyes. However, Saldivia was not done yet. He landed a big left hook and a number of other heavy shots at the end of the second round. Brook upped the pace in the third and the pressure paid off when Brook landed a crisp thunderous straight left that sent Saldivia reeling backwards..
