Light welterweight prospect Mike Dallas Jr, 19-2-1-(8), scored a sixth round tko win over Javier Castro, 27-5-(22),at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California on Friday.
Dallas wobbled Castro in the sixth before finishing the job after 2.06. to claim the WBO Latino interim light-welterweight championship.
On the undercard unbeaten super middleweight Brandon Gonzales, 16-0-(10), pounded out a one-sided eight round unanimous decision win over journeyman Elie Augustama, 6-5-(3). The scores were 80-72 on all three judges cards.
