Gabriel Stops Stone In Eight


WBO female light middleweight champion Hanna Gabriel scored a controversial eighth round stoppage win Dakota Stone at the Palacio de los Deportes, Heredia, Costa Rica on Saturday.

 

 

Local boxer Gabriel was clearly out-boxing Stone, but gloss was taken off the win when referee Geno Rodriguez stopped the bout with Stone in no visible trouble .

 

 

On the undercard light welterweight Elvin Perez, 22-5-4-(15), knocked out Genaro Trazancos with the aid of a left hook after 1.15 round five.

 

 

In a super featherweight bout Berman Sanchez, 26-3-3-(17), scored a fourth round tko win over Francisco Dianzo, 23-9-(20). Sanchez floored Dianzo in the third session before finishing the job fourth round with a body shot after 2.05.

 

 

super bantamweight Yoandris Salinas remained unbeaten at 15-0-1-(9), when he scored an eight round unanimous decision win over Danny Erazo by scores of 80-70, 79-73, 79-70.
