George Bombs Out Lowry In Hammond

Super middleweight Donovan “Da Bomb” George from Chicago, scored sixth round stoppage win over Troy Lowry of St. Paul, MN, in at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana on Friday.


George dropped Lowry with a left hook to the head after 2.15 of the sixth round. Lowry then motioned to his cornermen that he was done and the fight was stopped.


On the undercard heavyweight Andrey Fedosov from Russia, returned after being defeated by Bryant Jennings by scoring a second round ko over Maurice Harris. The fight was stopped after 2.24 when a left hook detonated to the mid section of Harris.


In super middleweight bout Chicago based Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez improved to 14-0-(10) by scoring a hard fought unanimous six round decision against Lester “El Cubanito” Gonzalez of San Diego, CA. Jimenez scored a knockdown in the fourth with a right before securing a 58-55, 58-54 and 57-56 win.
