Fernando Guerrero, 25-1-(19), scored a sixth round stoppage win over JC Candelo, 32-12-4-(21), at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas on Saturday.
Guerrero floored Candelo in round four and got the stoppage after 0.12 of the sixth round when Candelo stopped fighting after complaining of an injury. The bout was made at middleweight.
On the undercard unbeaten middleweight prospect J’Leon Love , 14-0-(8), scored a sixth round tko win over the outgunned but game Tyrone Selders, 8-4-(6). The time of the stoppage was 2:39.
In a super featherweight bout Antonio Capulin, 8-0-(3), scored a four round shut out win over Guadalupe Perez.
