Guerrero Wins A War In Carson/Exclusive Post Fight Interview

Former multi weight world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (32-2-1, 18 KOs) returned from a year’s inactivity to win a hard fought 12 round war against Yoshihiro Kamegai (24-2-1, 21 KOs) at the outdoor StubHub Center in Carson, California on Saturday night.

Coming In a welterweight battle Guerrero and rough and ready Kamegai went to war for pretty much the duration of the fight . “The Ghost” came out on top for most of the rounds but Kamegai did have his moments and a well timed uppercut in round six left Guerrero with swollen left eye.

After 12 tough and entertaining rounds Guerrero’s boxing skills were enough to secure him a 116-112 and 117-111(twice) point win on all three judges card.
