Bantamweight prospect Andres “Jaguarcito” Gutierrez remained unbeaten with a ninth round tko win over Colombia’s Onalvi Sierra to claim the vacant IBF International title at Gimnasio Municipal Miguel Hidalgo in Puebla, Mexico on Saturday.
The 18 year-old champion is now 22-0 as a pro.
In the co-main event Yazmiin “La Rusita” Rivas retained her IBF female bantamweight title against Nydia Feliciano by winning a 10 round unanimous decision. The scores were 100-90, 98-91 and 97-93.
In another female world title fight, Esmeralda Moreno won the WBC light flyweight title via a 10 round unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Naomi Togashi. The scores were 98-92, 99-94 and 97-93.
In a welterweight battle Ramón Álvarez scored a 10 round unanimous decision over Cristian Ruiz to win the vacant WBC Continental Americas title. The scores were 98-92 on all three cards.
