Daiki Kameda out-pointed Rodrigo Guerrero over 12 rounds to win the vacant IBF super flyweight title at the Sun Messe Kagawa in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan on Tuesday.

Apart from a ferocious 10th round where the fighters went punch for punch at each other, Kameda was the more polished and quicker of the two. Kameda was deducted a point in rounds five and 11 for low blows. At the end of 12 round the scores were 114-112, 116-110 and 117-109.

On the undercard Akinori Watanabe out-pointed Jaypee Ignacio over eight rounds in a light middleweight bout.
