The scores were 95-95 twiceand 96-94 for Kamegai.
On the same card former two-weight world champ Jorge Linares scored a 10 round unanimous decision win over the experienced Hector Velasquez. Linares needed the win after a string of defeats The scores were 100-89, 98-91, 97-91 win.
