Mezaache Retains Euro Title/ M’baye Defeats Lynes

Anthony Mezaache successfully defended his European lightweight title for the first with a unanimous 12 round points win over Ukrainian Andrei Kudriavtsev at the Palais des Sport Marcel Cerdan Arena in Hauts de Seine, France on Friday night.

Frenchman Mezaache, 15-5-3, was judged the winner on all three judges’ scorecards, 116-112,115-113, 115-113.

On the undercard Englishman Colin Lynes failed in his bid to regain the European junior-welterweight title when he dropped a 12 round split decision to former WBA champion Souleymane M’baye. Frenchman M’baye won the vacant European title when two judges scored the bout 115-112 and 115-113 while the third official made Lynes the winner 115-113.
