Former two weight world champion Cristian Mijares scored a 10 round unanimous decision win over Eusebio “Cascabel” Osejo in a super bantamweight bout at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico on Saturday.
All three judges scored the bout for Mijares by scores of 97-92.
Speaking after the fight Mijares said:“I want to go for a world title. We are ready in all respects. I have asked Zanfer to get me a world title fight against the super bantamweight or featherweight champion.”
On the undercard Super bantamweight Felipe ¨Gallito¨ Orucuta scored an impressive second round stoppage win over Filipino Richard Garcia .
At light middleweight Rodrigo Garcia won a six round unanimous decision over Jesus ¨Burbu¨ Rivera.
