lightweight contender Carlos Molina, 17-0-1-(7), scored a 10 round unanimous points win over Marcos Jimenez, 18-4-(12), at the McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, Texas on Saturday.
The scores were 99-91, 97-93, 96-94.
In a super-bantamweight bout Victor Sanchez, 3-3-1, upset the previously unbeaten Jerry Guevara, 7-1-(5), by scoring a six round unanimous decision win . Sanchez was floored early on but decked Guevara in round five with body shots before knocking him down twice more in the sixth round. The scores 57-53, 56-54, 56-54.
