Muhammad Wins 10 Knockdown Thriller

This past Saturday at Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi, undefeated Bantamweight, QaÍd “Kid Dynamite”Muhammad (8-0, 7 KO’s) scored a fifth round stoppage win over Jamal Parram in a fight where Muhammad scored EIGHT knockdowns.

The bout was without incident for Muhammad as he was sent to the canvas twice in the second round but came back to drop Parram three times in that same second round.

Muhammad was clearly in control as he scored two knockdowns in round three, two more in round four and the fight was stopped after the eighth knockdown of Parram in round five.

“Parram was a tough guy”, said Muhammad’s Father/Trainer and co-manager Abdur Muhammad.

“Q is looking to stay active as we would like one more fight in 2012 and at least four in 2013. At that point we would like to fight for some sort of title and become a ten round fighter. We want to step up the competition”

The 23 year-old Muhammad, from Atlantic City, NJ is a 2008 Olympic Alternate and is managed by Bill Mielnicki and Abdur Muhammad and co-promoted by Gabe LaConte’s First Round Promotions and Greg Cohen Promotions.
