Current WBO light flyweight champ Donnie Nietes, 31-1-3-(17), stopped Danai Meendaeng in round five of a non-title bout at the Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City, Philippines on Saturday.
Meendaeng, from Thailand, was reportedly making his professional debut but looked anything but an accomplished pro that knew his way around a boxing ring.
In the co main event light welterweight Jimrex Jaca, 36-6-3-(20), scored a near shutout 10 round unanimous points win over Jaypee Ignacio, 8-15-2-(2). The scores were 100-91, 100-89 and 98-91.
