Undefeated heavyweight hope Francesco Pianeta, 27-0-1-(14), outpointed an overweight 43-year-old, Francois Botha, 48-8-3-(29), over 10 rounds in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany on Friday night.
The scores were 99-92, 100-96, 97-93. Botha, who is known as the ‘White Buffalo’ weighed in at a whopping 275lb.
On the undercard WBF/WBO female middleweight champ Christina Hammer, 13-0-(7), scored a clear and unanimous 10 round decision against Yahaira Hernandez (11-4, 5 KOs).
At light heavyweight Jonathan Profichet claimed the WBO European crown with a tko win over Denis Simcic 2:47.of the first round.
In a heavyweight bout Markus Tomala outscored Tomas Mrazek over six rounds. The scores were 60-54, 59-55, 59-56.
