Ramirez Kos Selig


Light welterweight Jose Ramirez looked good in scoring a second round knockout win over Jesus Selig at the Selland Arena in Fresno, California on Saturday.

 

The end came after 0.44 when Selig was decked with a vicious body shot in front of the 8,000 crowd.

 

On the same card unbeaten heavyweight Andy Ruiz defeated Manuel Quezada after 2.00 of the second round. Ruiz decked Quezada in rounds one and two. Ruiz defended his NABF and WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight titles.

 

In a light middleweight boutJose Benavidez scored a clear and unimous six round unanimous decision over Angel Hernandez. Benavidez knocked down Hernandez in rounds one, four and five before securing a 60-51 score on all three judges cards.

 

In a welterweight bout Anton Novikov scored a shutout 10 round unanimous decision over Javier Castro . the scores were 100-90 on all three cards.
