Salido Survives Knockdowns To Stop Haya


WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido, 37-11-1-(24), recovered from two knockdowns in rounds three and four to score an eighth round tko win over Weng Haya, 15-5-(8) in round eight of a non-title match.

The bout took place at the Palenque de la Feria in Ciudad Obregon in Sonora, Mexico:

On the same card former world champion Cristian Mijares, 44-6-2-(20), knocked out Alejandro Valdez in round three of a super bantamweight clash.
