Former WBC light-flyweight champion Edgar Sosa, 44-7-(27), scored a seventh round tko win over Roilo Gomez, 13-8-(5), at the Foro Polanco in Mexico City on Saturday night.
The time of the stoppage was 2.30 of the seventh session. It now looks as though Sosa could feature in a WBC flyweight eliminator against Wilbert Uicab on March 31. Sosa retained his WBC International belt.
