Former Welsh amateur star Chris Jenkins from Cwmgorse wasted no time in his fight with Arturas Zbarauskas stopping the Lithuanian in the first round after a number of hard body shots had an immediate affect. The ref called the fight off in the first round after Zbarauskas was down twice. Big things are expected of Jenkins as he continues his pro career.
The main event was Tobias Webb from Swansea against Jody Meickle from London. From the opening bell Meickle clowned and played to the crowd to try and put Webb off his game. To his credit Webb stuck to the job in hand and did not let the Londen boxer unsettle him. He landed good hard punches and controlled the fight through out the six rounds. The ref scored the bout 60-53 after taking a point off Meickle for his clowning about.
