Welshman Nathan Cleverly will now face Aleksy Kuziemski for the WBO light-heavyweight title at the 02 Arena in London on Saturday night after second choice opponent Tony Bellow failed to make the weight.
Cleverly was installed as the WBO light-heavyweight champion yesterday after German Juergen Braehmer was stripped of his title following his second late withdrawal of a title defence.
Cleverly, who was previously the ’interim’ champion, was then with Commonwealth champion Bellew.
However, promoter Frank Warren confirmed that Bellew is out and Poland’s Kuziemski is in at late notice.
Warren confirmed to Sky Sports News: "It’s been a nightmare to say the least But we’ve managed to keep the show together.
"Tony Bellew contacted me to say he wanted the fight. He said he was within four pounds of the weight but unfortunately that wasn’t the case."
