A charity Cricket match between ex professional boxers and the Beckley Park Cricket Club will take place at Rectory Lane, Beckley, TN31 6UG on July 24 to raise money The Pedro Boxing Club in Hackney,London
Ex European super-middleweight champion James Cook runs the club. The aims is to get young people off the street, to stop them getting involved in gangs and drugs.
Cook is also aiming to raise money for Tenterden Amateur Boxing Club.
The boxing Cricket team will include

Sam Webb - Former British Light Middleweight Champ
Gary Woolcombe - Former Southern Area and British Masters Light Middleweight Champ

Dalton Miller – Professional Boxer
Andy Scott - Professional Boxer
A boxing ring will also be provided so in the interval the boxing club will provide an exhibition. The afternoon of fun and entertainment starts at 2pm
