British welterweight champion Kell Brook is hoping for another early night when he defends his title against Michael Lomax at the MEN Arena in Manchester on July 18.
Victory will mean Brook wins the prestigious Londsdale belt outright and although Brook expects a tough night ahead he also believes it could be an early one as well
"This is the toughest fight of my career," said Brook, 19-0-(12). "Lomax is a quality operator, but once he tastes my power there will only be one winner.
"I’ve had an early bath in all my British title fights, and I’m planning another one on July 14.
"It’s a great buzz when you are knocking people out, and I’m aiming for an electric display next month.
"I’m the real deal and I want to be fighting for a world title by this time next year."
