Following the withdrawal of Danny Williams, Derek Chisora will now face Sheffield’s Carl Baker in a British title eliminator at Wembley Arena in London on February 13.
Chisora has been looking for an opponent since Williams pulled out last week and, ironically, it is the man that defeated Williams in last year’s Prizefighter tournament that has now stepped in.
Chisora is obviously disappointed with the Williams pull out but the north Londoner is looking forward to facing Yorkshire based fighter. "Baker’s going to be tough, but I’m ready to knock him out and show I’m the best in Britain," insisted Chisora.
"I’m disappointed that I won’t be fighting for the British title against Williams, but my promoter Frank Warren has worked hard to make sure that this fight is an eliminator for the Lonsdale belt.
