Fields is in London for the first time and while his eyes are firmly set on become Prizefighter’s first International King, the 32 year-old intends to hit the sights at some point, and he’s determined to add his own glory to the feel good factor in the capital after the Royal Wedding.
“I didn’t get invited to the wedding but I’m here for the after party!” said Fields. “It’s my first time in London so I’ll get my training in early and check some of the museums and stuff out.”
Fields and Sprott will face the winner of the fourth quarter-final between unbeaten Romanian Lucian Bot and hard-hitting German Konstantin Airich in the second semi-final. Irish-based Cuban Mike Perez puts his unbeaten record on the line in the opening bout against Trinidad and Tobago hitter Kerston Manswell. The victor in that bout faces either American World title challenger Kevin ‘Kingpin’ Johnson or French champ Gregory Tony.
