Tyson Fury says he’s ready for a massive domestic dust up – if either Derek Chisora or Sam Sexton pull out of their double title showdown.
Chisora and Sexton go head to head in Birmingham on Saturday, September 18 in a scrap that brings together the British and Commonwealth titleholders. Fury will face the winner following his ninth round knock-out of John McDermott in a British title eliminator in.
Fury, who stands a towering 6ft 9ins tall, has previously offered to box both Chisora and Sexton and will not think twice if the chance comes along to box on promoter Frank Warren’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ bill. “If either Derek of Sam decide they would rather be somewhere else on September 18, I’m ready to step in,” said the 20 year old.
“I am in training for my next fight anyway, so will be in shape and ready to beat either of them.
“I won’t be turning my phone off just in case.”
