Frankie Gavin will make the first defence of his WBO Inter-Continental welterweight title against former pro soccer player Curtis Woodhouse.
Gavin faces Woodhouse at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on July 16. Gavin needs to put in a good performance after his uneventful points win over Young Mutley last weekend. Equally, its a great opportunity for Woodnouse to gatecrash the British title picture after losing on points to Peter McDonagh a while back.
Scotsman Ricky Burns tops the bill, defending his WBO super-featherweight crown against the returning Nicky Cook and Tony Bellow faces Ovil McKenzie in defence of his Commonwealth light-heavyweight title.
