Former two weight world champion Ricky Hatton has announced he is considering competing in Strictly Come Dancing.
Hatton, who announced his retirement from the ring this week, told the Daily Star he has been offered the chance to appear on both BBC ballroom show Strictly and Dancing On Ice.
Hatton said: "I’ve been asked to do the dancing and the skating, but my footwork is not as good on the ice as it is in the ring.
"I’ll pick Strictly on the one condition that they let me wear my gloves! It’ll make me feel at home a bit more."
The 32-year-old added: "A world champion boxer wearing Lycra and sequins - it’s not very fitting is it? But if that’s what you have to do, I’ve always been up for a laugh."
