Easy tiger! Hatton was always an exciting and respected fighter both domestically and over the pond.
The facts are; no elite sportsman can allow their condition to deteriorate between events the way that he always had and think they can get away with it forever. Top level fighters DO NOT do this. Look at Manny, look at Mayweather. Always in condition and could be fight ready at the drop of a hat. How can a fighter claim a training camp was their 'best ever' when the 1st 8 weeks is spend dropping weight?
They also can't blame a trainer at the age of 30 and expect a new one to bring something out that was never there before. I feel that the last few fights since Billy Graham parted company that Hatton never looked natural at any point. He always looked labored and like he was 'trying' too hard.
Not that Graham would have done things better!!
