Hatton Promotions has confirmed that trainer Lee Beard will no longer be connected their company or work with former two weight world champion Ricky Hatton or his brother Matthew Hatton.
A statement sent out earlier today by Team Hatton said:
Lee Beard has taken up a training appointment in America, where he has strong family connections.
As far as Ricky Hatton is concerned he has not made any decision as to who will be replacing Floyd Mayweather snr as his trainer and he will address this issue on his return from holiday.
Matthew Hatton will continue training for his fight at Fenton Manor, Stoke on the 19 February under the wing of Bob Shannon.
In the meantime Ricky, Matthew and everyone in the Hatton Camp wish Lee every success for the future.
