Haye Continues To Taunt Wladimir

David Haye has never been one to miss an opportunity to taunt Wladimir Klitschko and at the same time publicise their heavyweight unification battle in Hamburg, Germany this weekend. So it was no surprise that the recent E Coli breakout in Germany that claimed 48 lives would eventually be the focus of his taunts.

The E Coli epidemic has reportedly been blamed on bean sprouts from an organic farm in Germany and Haye is taking no chances so has had two vans loads of British organic produce brought over by road to feed him whilst in Germany.

Haye, who defends his WBA title against IBF/WBO and IBO champ Klitschko, said: "The German E.coli is more dangerous than Klitschko, without a doubt!

"I can control what Wladimir does but if I get that E.coli, I’m not sure what my defence for it will be like. But I can defend myself against whatever Wladimir is going to chuck at me on Saturday night."

It is common knowledge that Haye has been under a strict and carefully balanced Organic diet, under the supervision of nutritionist Ruben Tabares so it makes sense for Team Haye to make their own arrangements for his food intake.

Adam Booth, Haye’s manager and trainer said: "We’ve sent two vans of food over with us to Hamburg.

"We’re not eating any German bean sprouts - everything is English and organic. The chances of getting hit by E.coli are 0.01% which are better odds than getting hit by Wladimir Klitschko."
