
WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan, along with some of America’s leading Muslim Athletes, has been invited to attend a dinner at the White House in Washington on the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 atrocities.
British born Khan has been invited along with other leading Muslim American Athletes to attend the event on September 10 by US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.
The British boxer has been based at the Wild Card gym in California for over two years and is carving out a successful career in front of American boxing fans.
